HiddenFleet now includes manual fleet placement before battle, giving players direct control over how ships are arranged on the board before combat begins. Previously, fleet setup was handled automatically. With this update, commanders can build their own opening structure, prepare deliberate defensive layouts, and enter battle with a setup that matches their preferred tactical style.
From Automatic Setup to Full Player Control
Before this update, HiddenFleet positioned ships automatically at the start of a match. The new manual fleet placement system changes that flow by letting players arrange ships themselves before battle. This makes the opening phase more strategic, because fleet structure is no longer random from the player perspective. Every commander can now decide how to balance spacing, concealment, and board coverage before the first shot is fired.
Optimized for Desktop and Mobile Play
The new deployment experience was designed to work smoothly across both desktop and mobile devices. On larger screens, players can place and review ships with clear board visibility and fast adjustments. On mobile devices, the placement flow remains readable, responsive, and practical for touch interaction. This ensures that manual fleet setup feels natural whether a battle begins from a desktop browser or a phone screen.
Available in Solo and Duel Modes
Manual fleet placement is now available in both major HiddenFleet battle formats. Players can use it when fighting against the computer and also in Duel mode when playing with a friend. This keeps the pre-battle tactical layer consistent across single-player and multiplayer combat, while giving every match a stronger sense of preparation, personalization, and strategic intent.
